Q&A Thosha's playthrough

Thosha

cgh There were max and raphael's guide before mine (albeit not really optimized) and after me came Grim8P's guide (which is quite a new guide to be fair). Now Grim and me are practically synced up on choices and he helped we get back into it after my long break (doing individual updates can make you lose sight of the bigger picture)

Thosha

Thosha I've updated "goddess trainer" to be easier to follow

Thosha

swears To be fair I probably will only post a temporary working version pretty soon since the best results for Vhala's quest are pretty easy to get (with the stats we have). It is an inelegant solution but without knowing more I don't want to put requirements to play again from a certain point (which would be 10h+ at least) just for another temporary solution that will most likely change again.
I'd like to get the most possible support from all countries, but there is quite a bit still unknown about some variables before I can do that (so again it is postponed until after the gale's full release).

swears

Thosha No worries. I always assumed there'd be a back tracking at minimum to best use the pron we've been hoarding and possibly to use up the Sx though obviously we've been able to get this far without the best weapons and armor along the way. Glad you've been keeping tabs on our various hidden stats along the way. The country scores required for Vhala's best score seem difficult especially in the newer lands though perhaps a few investments would change that. Either way no reason for you to have to test too far back if you might just have to do it again once the variables for the final battle come out

Thosha

I've updated the walkthrough to include Vhala's quest, no backtracking required for best results, the threshholds were lower than I initially thought

swears

Small correction. During Riala's quest during trip 4, you can't get to "H" and "F" without clearing "L" (though if you've been paying attention during the quest, it's not hard to figure out)

Thosha In the walkthrough for Vhala's Quest, it states the following:

"Vhala Armour
Leave the projection room
Go to Renthor Wilds (central building) and talk to Lynine[222], "Yes", "Arcane Formation"[223], "Crystal of Stability""

My problem here is that when I talk to Lynine there's no choicce here. It only takes an Arcane formation and gives you the Divine Branch.

Thosha

cgh I am not very familiar with that interaction nor did I find any information on the wiki, I didn't even know she could have a forced trade, she does have the posibility to create a divine branch in the Nostalgic Home. Also from what I just read you get a second crystal of stability from Ivala's Crystal (it was changed). Hence you no longer need to trade it in.

cgh

Thosha Thanks very much. I see my error. I have to talk to Lynine in Renthnor Wilds NOT the Ancestral Home. that makes a huge difference. Sorry for wasting your time because of my misreading a straightforward line.

swears

Thosha I hadn't got to that part yet but I was wondering why you needed a 2nd Crystal of Stability after the one from the Incubus War. If we still have the extra Arcane Formation , a Liq Sex seems like a good idea so we can get all the Succubus custom stuff?

Thosha

swears For sure, I just looked it up and it seems like you get a second one for freeing Ivala, which I didn't get ;(
But good of you to point it out. I put a notice to warn people not to do the exchange if they already have a crystal of stability

swears

Any idea yet what the Cloak of Gold in Megail's quest does? It doesn't look like it's listed anywhere in the playthrough or the Quest walkthrough or really anywhere in the wiki

Thosha

swears nope, no clue. I don't think any triggers are available for it yet. Probably for the optional endgame dungeon if I had to guess (similar to Yarra's quest that it can alleviate some of the difficulty)

lostone2

swears As many other items like the Divine Branch, Wynn's staff, Final Potion or Crest of Nations they have no effects yet. I suppose that they will have an effect in the Final Dungeon.

And they are listed in the wiki, in the Inventory items page.

swears

lostone2 Well that's a interesting page I don't think I've ever stumbled across, thanks. I generally use the "Tools" drop-down as a table of contents for the wiki but i have in the past found other pages that are similarly not listed there. Always another secret 🙂

cgh

Thosha The walkthrough states:

"The Final Potion
Interact with the shining spot near the Potion Hermit (Sylvan region map, S)
Interact with the shining spot in Renthor Wilds (NE)
Interact with the shining spot near the Potion Hermit"

I'm unable to find any shining spot in Rentor Wilds NE.

Thosha

cgh Do you have all the ingredients? It is right next to the potion merchant in Renthor Wilds

cgh

Thosha No. Robin's comment is "I think one more ought to do it."

The ingredients I have are Pureflower and Arcane Drop. Do you know what the other one is?

swears

cgh There's a tiny chest in Nalili's room at the end of her quest that has the Ecstatic Drop. I totally missed it on my 1st run through but it's still there and I just finished Megail's quest. Thosha, might be worth a mention on the playthrough. It's not listed during Nalili's quest

cgh

swears Many thanks. Exactly where you indicated to produce the Final Potion. Does anyone have or know where the last Shining Sword can be found?
