Species of the Incubus Kings

Something I found myself wondering about on my latest playthrough is what species some of the Incubus Kings belong to, since it's rarely discussed. They are practically treated like a species of their own. Now as far as I can count there are 13 named Incubus Kings and there is no doubt about at least 9 of them
Xerces- Zirantian
Esthera- Succubus
LoB- Orc
Fucklord- Human
Skullcrusher- Orc
Simon- Human
Fuzkao- Human
Skullpounder- Orc
Mestan- Tower manifestation
That leaves The Lustlord, Nyst, Tanurak and The Arsehole of Arclent as mysteries to me.
Are their species ever explained in the game or is it left up to the player's imagination?

Tanurak is implied to have been a human before he was basically turned into a Tower ghost. Nyst is an artificial construct. We have no idea what species the Lustlord and the Arsehole were before they became Incubus Kings. We know that the Arsehole was from Renthnor.

Seriathus Yeah, but Nyst appears to have been a citizen of Philon before Xerces modified him, kinda like Xestris, so it's very possible he had an original species before he became a demon/I.K.
Given that his birthplace is Philon, zirantian seems like the most likely option, though his ears appear more elven in appearance.

I think Nyst may count as a demon (or at least demon based).
Assuming that the Lustlord and the Arsehole didn't change themselves too much, they could have been human or elf. Propably human, at least for the Arsehole. I think there were indications against elf in his case, like his obsession with elf women.

Tzardok Funny you say that, because I have a pet theory that the Arsehole was an elf originally, perhaps one who didn't have a great deal of luck with women of his kind and came to revile them as "sluts". He also fits the in-universe "flighty" stereotype for elves, and of course he has the ears.

Lustlord seems to indicate he wasn't human, given his line to Fuzkao, "humans tend not to last very long as Incubus Kings. The succubus has lasted longer than most of you." (not "most of us")

ForceofNature No, Nyst was entirely artificial. Xerces has the ability to create entirely artificial beings by the time the game takes place.

Given how the Lustlord thinks he is God, it's possible that he no longer considers himself human even if he was originally a human. The Arsehole of Arclent looks like an elf to me, judging from his ears.

I don't think Nyst was ever a "natural" being at all, just a sort of intelligent Tower construct of the same type that Xerces "army" in his confrontation with Hester was composed of.

I tend to agree with Decanter's "crazed elf" assessment of the AoA.

I posted this elsewhere a while back, but remember that the extant sentient races in TLS at the game start aren't the only possibilities for Dio/the Lustlord. Tertia's intro speech implies the cycle of Incubus Kings and Goddesses has gone on for many, many millennia, back into evolutionary and geological time. The Lustlord was apparently kicking around for at least a thousand years, It's possible he was the last member of race that is otherwise as dead as the dragons.

I think the Arsehole's ears are more a sign of his obsession, like the Fucklord's weaboness.
