0.56.0 Iris Quest - How to complete and rewards discussion

Here are some notes I took on completing this quest:

"Iris has her harem quest if maxed (found in Helvanna)."
You can find her in eleven places around the world:

Gasm Falls (Gasm Falls Jewelry Shop)
New Givini (Givini Fashion Shop)
Climax (Orgasmic Emporium)
Ryoken (Fuck Palace)
Kaant, Capital of Ghenalon (Finery of Kaant)
Central Endel (Stenai) (Threads of Endel)
Zirantia (Zirantia Plaza)
Feroholm Merchant Camp (Merchant Camp HQ)
Stineford (Stineford Clothing Store)
Eustrin (Eustrin B5, near lingerie ladder)
Denmiel (Fenmiel Barterhouse)

Then complete the following:

Visit the Extradimensional HQ to update the quest.
Visit the abandoned spider house in the Stineford Slums to obtain the silk.
I already had True Gold I could use. Not sure if you could check with Wendis to see if you can get more from one of her areas (Stone Tower?).

Once complete, you can obtain a few rewards from Iris, including a new ledger entry. What I'd like to maybe discuss though is which armor reward to take. First, what the armor gives:
+30 ATK / +60 DEF / +30 MAG / +60MDF

From what I can tell, the initial inquiry on Physical / Magical / Sexual determines who can wear it:

Breastplate de Iris (Physical) Simon, Hilstara, Aka, Carina, Nalili, Uyae, Vhala, Varia (dominated), Ginasta
Robe de Iris St (Magical) Robin, Riala, Yarra, Carina, Altina (saner), Ginasta
Lingerie de Iris (Sexual) Riala, Qum, Yarra, Nalili, Altina (saner)
Note: I don't have a file I can test Altina (cockwhore) or Varia (reshaped) with.

With the second inquiry on Status Effects / Elements / Debuffs, here is how they read:

"Special armor designed by Iris. Partially resists most status effects."
"Special armor designed by Iris. Reduces damage from most elemental spells."
"Special armor designed by Iris. Partially resists all debuffs."

Might need some datamined data to get specifics on how these work. I'd love to hear what people think regarding which options are best.

I gave it to Uyae. She is one of the few characters that use MAG and ATK, and compared to Sylvan cloak I had her in, the new threads are an improvement in every stat save agility.

Yarra got the new outfit in mine. I just needed a free upgrade to trade around the succubi, mostly because of that challenge fight in the update.

If you choose the resist status effects option, definately go sexual as it resists sexbind.

but debuff or elemental resistance seem like better choices as you've got status resistance covered by the abundance of pins.

Fulminato posted a datamine including what the different versions do. Looks like it's 50% resist to status effects, elemental attacks, or debuffs so I chose Physical > Elemental Resistance and gave it to Uyae as well. Still interested in what everything thinks is best though! I'm doing a second run with my wife so we will be making this decision again.

I think Elemental Resistance is the most widely useful(The Elemental Resistance+Sanctity Plate combo on Vhala is really impressive, the givini ruins would have been a bitch if vhala took full damage from the final boss's attacks when I cleared it)

Debuffs are rare and you can always use buff skills to counter them.

So the only question is armour type. Physical makes it available to more characters and Uyae is the best candidate to use it full time, but spellcasters are squishy as fuck and halving elemental damage is more useful for them than anyone else. I don't recommend the sexual armour option though. Riala Altina and Yarra can wear the magical version as well, and Qum and Nalili aren't especially high priority choices for wearing it.

Videospirit master and sublime staff grant resistance against more elements compared iris' armor. and they are a only mage weapons

Interesting, do the resistances stack to greater than 50%?

Videospirit they reduce the 25% dmg, not 50%, but the armors for mages have more MDF compared physical armors (and near all elemental dmg are spells). but for the math 50% + 25% ~ 60%

Even with the staves, magical is still worth considering than yeah. I'd probably give it to Yarra in general if I chose magical.

But, I think I'd lean towards choosing the physical armour. +30 attack is pretty high for an armour, and +30 magic is not really high for an armour(Although it's high for a physical armour, but Uyae and Simon are the only ones who give a shit about that as everyone else who cares about magic can wear magical or sexual armour), and I use Uyae for clearing trash mobs almost all the time.

Videospirit there is vhala, all her good skills are MAG based.

Made a physical armor with Elemental bonus and gave it to Vhala as well. Like it's a good fit for her.

I suppose most people won't have sanctity plate for vhala to free up her accessory slot so she'd be a good choice for it most of the time too yeah, but vhala is currently the character with the least need to equip a pin so has the easiest access to elemental resistance from accessory already if you get the sanctity plate.

Videospirit Yeah I opted for the Orcsphere instead. Hopefully we get a second of the item so I can get Vhala her armour.

Now knowing that all of the bonuses are 50%, I think elemental resistance is a clear winner here. If the statuses were 100% I could see a better argument for choosing that instead to free up the accessory slot but I'd rather not take chances.

Mentioned further above, but I don't think it is worth it to resist Sexbind and Lust Death if you only care about it for the single optional fight (albeit hard) fight. I was able to 2v2 it with Nalili and Vhala.
