It is convention on the wiki to color changes to relationship points in green or red text, but it's been proposed that this should extend to any mention of a specific RP threshold or value as well.

Personally, I believe it's better to keep it as changes only. Green and red text are also sometimes used for changes to flags, like the Yhilin battle guide, and for page size changes in Special:RecentChanges, so I think a convention of using these colors specifically for changes has evolved. I also feel there is a danger of using too much green or red and diluting the reader's attention.

However, that is my opinion. This is a subjective matter that deserves community input, hence this thread.

I support keeping it changes only. The wiki formatting isn't supposed to be like code in an editor where every term gets its own color. One thing to note about things like the yhilin battle guide is that I would want things like Aka's Affection value breakpoints to have its green removed for heightened consistency since they are not increases or decreases.

I don't hate the idea of thresholds having their own colour. It would make it easier to skim when trying to plan ahead which is something I do often when playing through the game at the moment.
Formatting should improve readability. If we have legitimate concerns that adding additional colours will decrease this, I could get behind not colouring them.
RP thresholds don't seem to come up very often though so I'm not sure how significant of a change this is either way. Of note is that I'm only at the end of chapter 4 in case that makes this point less relevant.

RP changes are easy to color since there's a wiki template to do that automatically. You just have to write {{rp|-6}} and bam it's red. So it's a standard that's easy to implement.

Could changing colors of thresholds be made this easy? Guides are already pretty complicated markup-wise, with all these damn tables.

I support stat changes in general being colored red or green—it's an easy way to indicate "this is good" or "this is bad."

Thresholds don't fit well into that paradigm, although a separate color to mark thresholds might be handy.
