Speculation Thread 12: Gathering Storm

Fulminato

TC_Leon it's "the tower". at the time they don't know it's name.

TC_Leon

Anyway, does anyone have any ideas about the ,,Teehee" Thief? She is only seen in outskirts of Gheldaron, as well as in Basanai. What I have heard is that she would be part of someone's harem quest in endgame section.

TheShadyOne

Quirriff The mother will be a petulant brat as usual but you might be able to form a temporary alliance or truce. If you helped the potion hermit it might also affect things.

I really do hope we get to see Orilise (with/without a divine shard) act as some kind of "Anti-Mother". It would so fit her character, plus she'd probably ~~cream her panties~~ have fun all the way...

I'm not sure what is meant by "harem quest", I've seen the term thrown around quite a bit, but does Harem Quest mean part of a "quest" to get someone in the Harem (Like Ellaeni), or a quest once someone has joined the Harem (like Iris lingerie quest)?

Decanter

BlueSwann Toward the end of the game, every harem member is planned to get a sidequest focused on them in some way. Hilstara's Redlights quest and Iris's sewing quest are examples. Presumably if this thief girl is not a future harem member then she will be involved in one of these quests. Perhaps Dari will be tracking her down, for example.

BlueSwann

Decanter

In that case my guesses for which Harem member the Thief is associated with are: Trin, as this Thief girl did like to cause chaos (maybe a sister?), or Dari as investigating a thief is something she would like and the thief seems to be from Thenours. Final option could be Fheliel as she also has some masked agents and we only see the thief in countries within Ghenalon's sphere of influence.

Cazador

Incubi who were clearly captured are Fuzkao (if he's alive), Tanurak, Nyst, and Simon. Wendis wasn't captured despite possessing a shard, and Riala implied the Doom King armor wasn't captured either despite being made of a shard. So I'm wondering, was Esthera captured as well? We didn't see her get captured, and maybe her subservient status to Simon means she wasn't targeted. But then again she's an incubus king and the empress of a whole empire, not capturing her would be sloppy.

Agumentic

I wonder if the Thief girl connected to that competition of thieves from around the world we heard about during the First Gathering, or is it simply a red herring?

Arachne

Another possible surprise guest on the Incubus King prison could be the Fucklord if Simon did not order Wendis to kill him quickly.

And maybe some minor kings that slip through the cracks until now (would just be mooks at this point though).

Cazador

Agumentic Both are described as having a "high pitched voice", so they're very probably related.

There's also someone who said they saw something that's not part of the three continents. At this point I think it might be the LoB's floating fortress.

Fulminato

Agumentic is/was an hint ages before we see the character.

Arachne wendis destroyed estaven soul. and then even if he survived, he lost his shard, fractured and scattered, fuzkao and mestan pickup two of the fragments. so he will never be send in the prison woth the other IKs.

BlueSwann

Cazador

Now that you point it out, while the end cinematic shows all the IKs getting zapped, Esthera is strangely absent. Which would be a pretty major oversight. However, she also wasn't mentioned by Riala, Robin, Yarra, the Godesses, or even Wendis afterwards, which leads me to believe that she has also been zapped (but for some reason we haven't seen it).

Goi12

does it show fuzukuo if he doesn't die in the war

SotterPapaioannou

Goi12 yes.

So...In regards to the Church points earlier...Why has no one brought up the Factions of the Church yet? Of all of them the Desecrationists seem to be the most viable for well...Tower walking Associates (Possibly the faction which Holds Ivala). Being that they created the Unpeople, whom have their sexuality seared from them, And are also the most likely to well....Hold a goddess hostage, and use the chosen as divine distractions
Which the Incubus Emperor well copied to make the Unsuccubus. But despite that point. The fact that the Sexuality is 1. Seared out of them 2. as shown with Dari, can be fixed within the tower (not real evidence towards this being a requirement but Its likely it is) It could be that the Mysterious Force capturing the Incubus kings isn't Hester...But perhaps the leader of this desecrationist faction?

Fulminato

SomePerson the chosen are a consecrationists affaire.

SomePerson

Fulminato While true. The Chosen also have way too many quirks to have ever been, a consecrationist creation. They are too horny, blinded by their lust at times, and while they do attain power quickly they die pretty regularly even to weak incubus kings. So its unlikely that the consecrationists would bank their strategy on these failures if they had the means and method. Its more likely they find them wandering around as they do seem avid questers if not guided by the churches hands. The church could easily tell them apart based on appearance alone let alone their abilities.

Being as uniform as they are...I kinda have my suspicions they're...well constructs of the tower, and designed in a similar manner to Orcs. At least with what is shown they do seem...quite...similar to the Incubus Emperors orcs. with Kalant being "unique".

Fulminato

SomePerson in the end of the update is state clear the chosen are a projet to undestand the 'soul' shard, becaose the one beyond the chosen had access only to a divine shard (iviala's). something alike xerces had done with zelica.

they aren't a weapon to defeat IK's, they need to be flawed, they need to alwasy end badly, by designe, because they never succeeded, or they are useless for the goal of their master.

chosen are people, normal people (more or less). they are enchanted with powerful spells, tower-grade spells, similar the lustlord's orc tower, estaven special armies, or the LoB elites. everyone of them had a story, a past and a family.

bigfan

what is the 'soul' shard you speak about? till now we were shown divine and lust shards. As most things are shown in oposites (like oposite forces being the nuclear forces of the universe) I dont understand where that soul shard fits in

Fulminato

bigfan 'soul' shards are the one you call 'lust' shards. the one creating incubus kings in the game in the first three chapters are refence alwasy with that name.
