There's no way to "skip" forward. The game is full of little decisions that have an effect later, and to skip you forward the game would either have to interrogate you about them at great length or make a lot of wrong assumptions about them.
If you are certain there's no way to recover your old save(s), your best bet is to tell us which decisions you care about preserving, and see if someone has a save that's similar. Common decisions that people care about are the fates of Altina and Varia, and whether Qum was whored out for extra ProN.
