Just found this but can't play

So a friend introduced me to this (tried a bit on his pc and fell in love with it) but when I try to play it on my laptop I can't seem to open the game.

I've downloaded the file from the blog site, and also installed the linked RPG Maker RTP. But when I try to run the downloaded file "TLS 0.67.2" (the icon is a blue hexagon) my laptop tells me that I need to install an app to do so. But my friend doesn't remember having to download any other application to run the file.

Am I missing something or did my friend forget some step he had to do before?

The file 067.2 is an executable. If you double-click on it it should prompt you to choose a folder to extract the files and folders that has inside:

Choose a new folder whereever you want and select press Ok. The program will copy the files to the selected folder.

If the previous option doesn't work, you have the option to rename the file extension to .zip or .rar and use a program like Win Rar or 7-zip to unpack the files that way:

Opening it with winrar worked perfectly.

Not really sure why it doesn't run normally but at least I have a solution now.
