Hey, first wanted to say I absolutely love TLS, and I’m starting to work on a rpgmaker game myself, not here to shill for that though, I wanted to ask if it would be fine to load TLS into rpgmaker to see how the switches and variables were used in the various places like the wars and just in general. I love the game, so I’d rather respect the wishes of Sierra than ask for forgiveness afterwards. Thanks!
There are a good number of data miners that do this so don't worry about it.
On SL being offended by data extractors, I'd quote the immortal Yahtzee Croshaw:
"(That ship) has sailed, circumnavigated the globe, and returned to port laden with exotic spice!"
More seriously, it would probably be harder for SL to continue developing the game without the data miners as we've become for all practical purposes her unpaid QA department, and it's becoming very difficult to keep track of all the variables.
DukeLeto7 Add to this that the datamining is used to fill the wiki with, well, data, and the wiki's real damn useful when playing this game. No datamining, no wiki, game becomes unplayable.
